Prepping (short for "preparations" or "preparedness") is the practice of actively preparing for future emergencies, disasters, pandemics or disruptions in every day life.
There are two main strategies:
"Bugging in" vs. "Bugging Out".
When a crisis hits, preppers generally have two plans of action:
Bugging in: Staying at home and turning it into a safe haven. This is the most preferred method for most situations (for example, a pandemic) because you have all your supplies, comfort and shelter ready.
Bugging out: Evacuating your home because staying there has become too dangerous (like during a wildfire, a hurricane or if civil war breaks out). Preppers often keep a Bug out Bag (BOB) which is a backpack packed with 72 hours worth of survival essentials - ready to grab at a moments notice
At ggbs, we have extensive knowledge of utilising both of the above strategies.

The core philosophy is simple: Instead of relying on the government or emergency services, you take personal responsibility to ensure you and your family can survive on your own.
